Now Hiring: Data Governance Lead to Support Our Civic Data Hub

We are excited to announce we are now accepting applicants for our Data Governance Lead position to add to our data team! Interested candidates can view the job description here. This is a new role to support Innovate Memphis’ launch of our Data Midsouth (DMS) civic data hub platform – a one-stop shop for public data assets, reporting and user support across a variety of community indicators from public health to community development to arts and culture. Specifically, the Governance Lead will be responsible for building strong relationships with data providers, securing data sharing agreements needed to centralize public access on the DMS platform, and facilitating a community-led data governance committee to shape this work.

We are looking for candidates who are strong negotiators, consensus-builders and translators between technical data providers and community data users to help us sustain a best-in-class public data hub.
